He was born on October 3, 1958 to Amos and Gladys (Sipes) Taber. They preceded him in death.
He married Donita Elliott. She preceded him in death in 2015.
Surviving is his daughter, Danica McDonald of Macomb, step sons, Danny and Damion, three brothers, Don Taber, Dean Taber, Darrell Taber and four grandchildren, Drake, Josh, Miles and Maddie.
Also preceding him in death is one daughter, Desiree Taber, one brother, Denny and two sisters, Debbie Davis and Dena Taber.
David retired as a truck driver in 2018.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton.
