Shelley Franzoni

Shelley Franzoni, 56 of Canton, passed away at 8:55 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 25, 1968 in Canton. She married Matt Franzoni in 1991. He survives.

Also surviving is one brother, Richard Dean (Mary) Wooddell of Davenport, Iowa.

Preceding Shelley in death was her mother, Alice Switzer.

Shelley worked for Canton Hy Vee for the last 32 years, and was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed boating on the Canton Lake, spending time with her family. Shelley loved her dogs, but most of all was the love she had for her husband.

Graveside service and burial of cremains will take place in Norris Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Deacon Curtis Thyese will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory. Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
