Delbert R. Wilcoxen

Delbert Raymond Wilcoxen, 87, of Havana passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born on May 14, 1935 in Liverpool Township to Raymond and Marie (Weaver) Wilcoxen. He married Janice L. Friedrich on July 12, 1957.

Delbert is survived by his wife, Janice Wilcoxen of Havana, nephew, Richard (Christine) Wilcoxen, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Doris Clark and Dickie Wilcoxen.
Delbert served in the U.S. Army and fought in Korea. He retired from Navastar after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Havana Church of Christ, where he was a former Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent. He enjoyed hunting and farming with friends and family, and was also a huge fan of Western movies and shows.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at the Havana Church of Christ, with a visitation prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pastor Bill Boyce will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. VFW Post #6408 and American Legion Post #138 will provide military detail.
