Zoe B. Mix, 83, of Hanna City, passed away at 2:35 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Farmington Country Manor in Farmington, IL. She was born on January 23, 1938 in rural McDonough County to Earnest and Jessie (Holmes) Strausbaugh. She married Bruce Mix on October 19, 1981 in Peoria, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Jay Walker of Canton, IL, Stephanie (Adam) McMillan of Industry, IL, Jennifer (Joe) Knuppel of Le Claire, IA, and Sarah Skiles of Macomb, IL; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Ted (Donna) Strausbaugh of Peoria, IL; and one sister, Diana Hall of Monmouth, IL.
Zoe was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Scott Walker; and one sister, Nadine Clayton.
Zoe retired from Caterpillar after 30 years. She volunteered for food banks in the Peoria area. She enjoyed baking for everybody and working outside. She loved being with her family. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and sister.
