Cara Sue Casper, 58, of Celina, TX, formerly of Canton, IL, passed away on February 13, 2021 at 8:20 AM at her home in Celina, TX. She was born on January 5, 1963 to James and Marilee (Atwater) Casper.
Survivors include her mother, Marilee Casper, brother, Mike Casper, Niece Haley Casper Anderson, nephew, Bowen Casper, two uncles, Bob and Jerry Atwater, two aunts, Sally and Karen Atwater, and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Cara was a very good nurse, graduating from Mennonite Hospital School of Nursing in 1985. She last worked at Ambulatory Surgical Institute of Dallas.
She was truly a hero in fighting pancreatic cancer for 2 ½ years. Cara had several pets throughout her life. The last one named Coco was such a special little dog to her.
