Wilma Clayberg


Cuba- Wilma Louise (Landis) Clayberg, 96, of Cuba, passed away at 11:10 PM Tuesday April 2, 2019 at Red Oak Estates in Canton.

She was born April 9, 1922 at Cuba, the daughter of John C. and Berneice (Murphy) Landis. She married Marion Clayberg on July 22, 1940 at Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Zolene Taylor. Survivors include one son, Steven (Lynn) Clayberg of Cuba, two grandsons, Mark Runyan of Denver, CO; and James (Tari) Runyan of Rushville, four great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

Wilma was a homemaker and had also volunteered at the Cuba Library for many years. She was a member of the Cuba United Methodist Church, the SLT card club, and the Cuba United Methodist Church quilting group.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba, where visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Reverend Ardith Corsaw will officiate and burial will be in Cuba Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice. Condolences may be made at henrylange.com
