Canton – Kurt Skender, 69, of Canton, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019 at his home in Canton.
He was born on May 12, 1949, in Canton, to Billie and Diantha (Whitehead) Skender. They preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Tina (Flint) Skender, who he married on October 11, 2008.
Also surviving are five children Randi Skender - Bump, Derek (Terri) Skender, Alex (Leah) Skender Mitch Delozier and Be Delozier, five grandchildren, Brian Bump, Eric Bump and Alyssa Bump. Richard “Richie” Skender and Victoria “Tori” Skender, and three great grandchildren.
Kurt was a Canton Senior High Class of 67 Alumni, he retired from Caterpillar where he worked as a toolmaker. He was a member of the Canton Masonic Lodge, he owned and operated Little Giants Computer repair. Kurt enjoyed golfing, and hunting he was also an avid Chicago Cubs Fan.
A funeral will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 12 Noon at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, where visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A Masonic service will be held prior to the Funeral service
Burial will be held at Greenwood cemetery in Canton
