Lewistown- Jean Scott, 96, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:08 PM Saturday April 6, 2019 at Red Oak Estates in Canton.
She
was born August 26, 1922 at Lewistown, the daughter of George N. and
Jennie I. (Quigley) Breckenridge. She married Dr. Will E. Scott Jr. He
preceded her in death along with her parents, two brothers, and two
sisters. Surviving is one daughter, Sara Shupe of Longmont, CO; four
grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Jean
was a graduate of Marion College in Indiana where she studied pre
medicine. She was a past president of the Women’s Medical Association
Auxiliary in Texas. She enjoyed traveling and had a great interest in
Biblical Archeology.
Services
will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in
Lewistown, with Pastor Brant Reed officiating. Visitation will be held
one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Davis-Greenlawn Cemetery
at Rosenberg, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to Red Oak Estates.
