Lewistown- Sandra Lind Peterson, 54, of Lewistown passed away at 8:50 PM Monday December 3, 2018 at her home.
She was born December 31, 1963 on USAF Base at Portland, OR; to R.L. “Pete” and LaRita (Russell) Peterson. She is survived by her dad Pete Peterson of Canton, one son, Sam Peterson of Lewistown, one sister, Cindy Peterson of Macomb, a nephew Tashi of Morton, plus aunts and uncles of Oregon, Washington and Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents and two sisters Susan and Roberta Peterson.
Sandi graduated from Lewistown High School in 1982. She started working for Quality Home Care then for a nursing home, Hardees, Broadway Arms and finally for FRTC. In 1995 she was involved in the Head Start Program and held different positions including secretary and treasurer. She also volunteered for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and other organizations.
She was a member of Cuba Church of the Nazarene and the Jaycees. In her life time Sandi had performed in several plays at the Fulton County Playhouse.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 PM Monday December 10, 2018 at the Cuba Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Don Southerd officiating. Private burial of ashes will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements.
