Susan
Ann Smith, 66, of Canton passed away at 3:42 PM Friday, September 11,
2015 at the OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on
March 3, 1948 in Canton to Herman R. and Mildred G. (Gibson) Jones. Sue
married Stephen A. Smith in 1968. He preceded her in death in December
2009. Also preceding in death were a brother Robert, a sister Carolyn
and her parents. Surviving is 2 sons; Scott Smith and Shaun (Janice)
Smith both of Canton, 2 brothers; Leroy (Bonnie) Jones of Rushville, and
Larry (Gracie) Jones of Havana, and 3 sisters; Arlene (Marvin) Stuckey
of Canton, Alice Wilson of Canton, and Rosie (Bill) Landis of Morris,
IN.
Sue
was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. Cremation rites have
been accorded. Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home is in charge of
