Daryl J. Reid, 73, of Canton, IL passed away at 11:45 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Graham Hospital. He was born October 11, 1941 in Canton to Dewey and Audrey (Winner) Reid. He married Nelda Richey on November 23, 1965 in Lewiston, IL. She preceded him on January 2, 2005. Also preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers; Robert and Bernard Reid.
Surviving are two children; Kirk Reid of Canton, and Kip (Lucero) Reid of El Paso, TX, two grandchildren; Ethan and Kara Reid of Prescott, AZ, two step grandchildren; Julian and Christina Vargas of El Paso, TX, and one brother James Reid of Canton.
Daryl worked as a Laborer at International Harvester Company. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1964.
Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 28, 2015 at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. The Rev. Monroe Bailey will officiate.
