Lewistown- Monica L. (Gibbons) Johnson, 54, of Bloomington and formerly of Lewistown passed away Saturday September 26, 2015 at her home.
She was born April 4, 1961 at Beardstown, the daughter of Gerald and Sharon (Taylor) Gibbons. She married Phil Johnson in 1980 at Havana and from this union they had one son, Nathan (Morgan) Johnson of Lewistown. Also surviving are her father and step-mother Gerald (Jeannette) Gibbons of Lewistown, three sisters, Lori Ogden of Aurora, Joy (James) Hagaman of Lewistown, and Cindy (Brian) Renfro of Bloomington, three grandchildren, Sailor Johnson, Paisley Johnson, and Camden Johnson all of Lewistown. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Monica worked many years as a sales rep in Bloomington. She enjoyed crafts, painting, and she loved her animals.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday September 30th at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Danie deBeer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
