She was born on October 8, 1931 in Farmington to Batiste and Lena (Astesone) Filerbo.
She married Paul Hayes and later married Wade Lybarger on September 26, 1986. They preceded her in death.
Marie last worked at Shad Hill in Farmington. She was a past member of the 1st Baptist Church in Farmington, the Order of the Eastern Star in Yates City and the Women of the Moose in Farmington.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad.
Cremation rites have been accorded through Oaks-Hines Funeral Home.
A Private burial of the ashes will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
