Georgeann was born on January 17, 1935 to George and Lillian Kendall in Alton, Illinois. After Georgeann graduated from Alton Senior High School and she went on to enlist in the United States Navy as a beautician.
Later, after the Navy, she graduated nursing school as a LPN and went on to work at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater Florida and then on to Kinkaid Special Needs Home in Jacksonville, Florida where she later retired.
While serving in the Navy, Georgeann Kendall met James Williams in Bainbridge, Maryland where they later married. Georgeann and James were married for 27 years and went on to have 4 children, Debra Williams-Potts (Mark), Duane Williams (Judy), and twins Denise and Darryl Williams.
In 1996, Georgeann retired and spent her time with her flowers, puzzles, her family and she loved politics.
Georgeann was predeceased by her husband, James Williams, and she is survived by her children and several grandchildren.
Georgeann loved Church and her Lord and wanted to make Him known to everyone. We, as a family, all agreed on a scriptural verse most fitting for her at this time as it comes from 2 Corinthians 5:6 thru 8 which states, “So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.”
No service will be locally held as per family request and cremation rights have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to OSF Hospice in Galesburg, Illinois.
