Eileen Dillard

Eileen Dillard passed away May 2, 2024 at Red Oak Estates in Canton. She was born on August 11, 1927 in Washington, IL. to Henry Adam and Wilhelmine (Poehlman) Vohland. She married Charles William Dillard on August 28, 1949 at St. Marks Lutheran Church in Washington, IL. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2005.

Surviving is her daughter Diana Elizabeth (Tony) Rolando of Canton, IL, one grandson Matthew Charles (Leah) Rolando of Ursa, IL, two great-grandchildren; Carter William and Audrey Elizabeth of Ursa, IL and two nephews; Bill (Brenda) and Bob (Deb) Vohland of Canton and Farmington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother and sister-in-law Howard and Lois Vohland.

Eileen graduated from Washington Community High School in Washington, IL in 1945. She is a past member of OES Esther Chapter 4 in Clearwater Florida. A member and past president of Canton Woman’s Club, member and past president of PEO Chapter of JQ, past member of Altruistic Club, volunteer for Graham Hospital Service League and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Miriam Circle of her church.

Services will be 11 am Monday, May 6, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton, where visitation will be 1 hour prior to services. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
