Helen L. Lehnhausen

Fairview- Helen L. Lehnhausen, 86, of Fairview, passed away at 12:50 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Knox County Nursing Home in Knoxville. She was born on August 3, 1937 in Canton, a daughter of George and Rosie (Wages) Cowden. She married Dale “Bud” Lehnhausen on December 8, 1956 in Fairview. He preceded her in death on April 14, 2023.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, brothers, George, Wally, Allen; sisters, Pauline, Betty, Doris; and son-in-law, Mike Watters.

Surviving Helen is her children, Becky (Late Mike) Watters of Ellisville; Dale (Colleen) Lehnhausen Jr. of London Mills; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Jake) Morey, Amber (Jayson) Waughtel, Beau Lehnhausen , Skye (Jarod) Ehens, Summer (Troy) Kisner, Kati (John Vanfleet) Gray, Ashley Lamb; great-grandchildren, Tanner (Hanna) Watters, Tucker Watters, Taylor, and Calliegh Morey, Teigan, Nylah Kisner, Cambria, Wrenna, and Cora Ehens, Zeke Gray, Laken Vanfleet, Tyson and Preston Waughtel, and two great-great-grandchildren, Waylon Watters, one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.

Helen enjoyed cooking as she would feed all her kids and their friends, sewing, painting, camping, being with her grandkids, as she attended all of their sporting events, crafts of all kinds, playing cards, gambling doing puzzles, and being a den mother for the cub scouts.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview. Memorials can be made to the Fairview Fire & Rescue. To leave online condolences please visit www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
