James Adam Archibald

James Adam Archibald, 57, of Elmwood, passed away at 6:41 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2024 with his family by his side has gotten peace after a long battle of cancer. He was born on February 3, 1967 in Peoria, IL to Dick and Marsha (Schooley) Archibald. He married Patricia Clark on October 18, 1998 in Glasford, IL. She survives.

He is also survived by his father; three children, Nicholas Adam Archibald of Spear, IL, Shelbey Rae (Zak Stokes) Clark-Archiblad of Brimfield, IL, and Jessica Jaimes Clark-Archibald of Elmwood, IL; 4-legged son Si, a Yorkshire Terrier, those two were inseperable; and one sister, Trisha Archibald of Brimfield, IL.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Jamie graduated from Brimfield High School in 1986. He last worked at Miller Welding in Washington, IL. James was a fan of Nascar. He loved going to the races with his daughter, Jessica who got him to a practice race this year.

Per Jame’s wishes there will be no services. If they can’t come see me if I’m alive, don’t bother when I’m gone. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Diabetic Association.
