He was born on August 18, 1946 in Canton to John and Helen (Martin) Williams.
He married Diana Orwig on September 22, 1974 in Smithfield. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Thomas (Kim) Williams of TN, Sarah (Jared) Grzanich of Canton, Christina (Branden) Markley of Cuba, nine grandchildren, Seth, Hailey, Charlie, Willie, Lilah, Baley, Lillian, Allison and Emmett and one great grandchild, Mateo.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, John and one granddaughter, Stella.
Chuck served 2 ½ tours in Vietnam in the U.S. Marine Corp. After the service he worked for the U.S. Post office as a rural mail carrier from where he retired. He was active in the Nazarene Church in Smithfield. He was a member of the Cuba American Legion Post #533 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending the kids and grandkids events and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed vacationing, especially at Silver Dollar City in Branson. Most of all Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 4-7, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
Cremation rites will follow and a funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 2pm, at the funeral home. Burial of the ashes with military services will follow at Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield.
