Kyle Robert Smith

Kyle Robert Smith, 68, of Manito, passed away at his home at 8:57 a.m., on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He was born June 18, 1957, in Libertyville, Illinois, to Robert I. and Patsy Jean (Lauderdale) Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by one son: Vincent Paul Smith; mother, Patsy Smith, of Manito, three siblings: Kelly (Richard) Scott, of Grafton, Illinois, Kirby Smith, of Manito, and Kirk Smith, of Manito. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and sister: Kimberly Jo Kelly.

Mr. Smith was a laborer, who specialized in cable work and tunneling.

A celebration of life will be held at 1001 S. Washington St., in Manito, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Kyle’s family invites everyone to visit and share their stories.
