John E. Kuntz

Glasford- John E. Kuntz, 68, of Glasford, passed away at 10:11 AM on Wednesday May 7, 2025 at his residence. He was born on June 5, 1956 in Peoria, a son of Pete and Delores (Stone) Kuntz. He married Donna Hash on May 7, 1976 in Whitney County, Kentucky. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Mary (Jason) Gallion of Banner; Jeffery (Amanda) Kuntz of Iowa; Billy (Sara) Kuntz of Iowa; Joseph Kuntz of Canton; six grandchildren, Tyler and Eva Gallion, Katie Betts, Mathew, Shawn, and Sarah Kuntz; one great-grandson, Jaxson Betts, and his beloved dog Boo.

Preceding John in death were his parents, two brothers, Donald and Wayne Kuntz, and sister Helen Hedge.

John worked and retired from Kuntz Well Drilling, as he owned and operated the company from 1989 until 2009, as much as John loved drilling wells, he also enjoyed camping, fishing, squirrel, rabbit, and mushrooming hunting.

Graveside services and burial will take place at 11:30 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Lancaster Cemetery in rural Glasford. Rev. Kevin VanTIne will officiate. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM also on Saturday May 17, 2025 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton.
