Lillie Ann Overholt

Lillie A Overholt, 82, of Canton, IL, passed away at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2024 at OSF in Peoria, IL. She was born on January, 23 1942 in rural Chariton County, Missouri to James G. and Doris A. (Woolridge) Willsie. She married Richard “Dick” Overholt on November 27, 1960 in Peoria, IL. He preceded her in death.

She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tracy A. Overholt and one brother, Floyd Sanders.

She is survived by three children, Barbara (Joe) James of Bartonville, IL, Richard V. Overholt of Canton, IL, and Laura (Jeff) Buchman of Canton, IL; three grandchildren, Kelly (Nick) Verardo of Glasford, IL, Kyle James of Bartonville, IL and Ashley (JJ) Belville of Canton, IL; six great-grandchildren, Aubree, Brayden, Caleb, and Dawson Verardo, Addy and Avery Belville; and one sister, Sharon Hempen of Canton, IL.

Lillie worked and retired from JC Penny’s in Canton and Pekin, IL. She loved being with her friends, family and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Bingo.
