Also surviving are his two children, Tina (John) Pasley of Lewistown, and Tammy (James) Kem of rural Canton; four grandchildren, Tiara Muggulla of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Asia Kem of Lewistown, Gina Keister of East Peoria, and Jena Pasley of Lewistown; three great-grandchildren, Ajeet Muggulla, Sahasra Muggulla, and Grayson Keister; and four sisters, Karen Issacs of Canton, Linda Swise of Cuba, Dixie Martin of Urbana, Ohio, and Louise Freitag of Urbana, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Kenny Lefler.
Thomas was a factory worker for International Harvester in Canton and Indianapolis for many years. He was a member of the Bryant Christian Church, and he loved spending time with family; having cook- outs and flipping hamburgers like only he could. In his younger years Thomas rode motorcycles, and some activities that he enjoyed later on in life include Livestock and Farm Auctions, visiting with family and friends at the campground, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM- 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton, where a Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022. Burial will follow at Orendorff-Breeds Cemetery in rural Canton, IL. Memorials can be made to the Bryant Christian Church.
