David E. Cummins, Sr.

Lewistown- David E. Cummins Sr., 67, of Lewistown, passed away at 7:25 PM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 13, 1955 in Michigan City, Indiana; a son of James D. and Lillian (Proll) Cummins. He married Terry McClanahan on October 6, 1973 in Cayuga, Indiana. She survives.

Also surviving David are his two children, Christina (Robert) Seward of Elizabethton, Tennessee, and David E. (Lynn Struesser) Cummins Jr. of Wallis, Texas; two grandchildren, Haley (Levi) Asher and Ezra Reneau; one great-grandchild and one on the way, MacKinley Jo and Little Nugget Asher; one brother; and four sisters.

Preceding him in death were both parents; one brother; and one sister.

David worked as a Steamfitter for the Local 353 Union for 45 years. In his free time, he enjoyed going fishing and spending time with his family.
