Evan L. "Bud" Farrar, 81, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020 at 6: 30 p.m. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on June 20, 1939, in Canton to Raymond and Ruth (Smith) Farrar. They preceded him in death along with one sister, Wanda Hickman.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Barclay) Farrar, five children, Max Brown, Brian Brown, Kimberly Fogel, Robert Webb, and Nickolas Webb, nine grandchildren, Tabatha, Harmony, Brian, Alisha, Cynthia, Brandon, Kiera, Keith, and Parker, and five great grandchildren.
Bud worked for Remington firearms in Arkansas, he then worked for Caterpillar, and most recently he worked for Elam Private Detective Agency as a security officer.
Bud was a hard worker, he enjoyed collecting guns, and having coffee with his friends.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There is no service to be held at this time.
