Memberships: He enjoyed teaching his nephews his trade.  He also enjoyed woodworking and nature walks.  He was a member of the Vermont United Methodist Church and a former Vermont Village Board member.

Visitation:        Friends may call at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria from 1:00-2:00 pm on Tuesday, prior to the graveside.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing guidelines will be in place and no more than 10 people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home.

Interment: Vermont Cemetery, Vermont, Illinois
