Wanetta R. Brush

Lewistown- Wanetta R. Brush, 87, of Lewistown passed away at 3:50 AM Thursday October 31, 2019 at the Farmington Country Manor in Farmington.

She was born December 21, 1931 at Hopedale, IL; the daughter of Clarence and Gladys (DaCosse) Flynn. She married Robert Brush on October 7, 1950 at Lewistown. He died November 28, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are one son, Robert (Ann) Brush Jr. of Lewistown, two daughters, Brenda (Jim) Long of Lewistown and Karen Beyers of Prairie City, six grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Wanetta worked as a cook at McNally and Central School’s. She also worked at Walmart and cleaned houses. Wanetta was also a volunteer at Graham Hospital for the Red Cross. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. The family would like to thank the staff at Farmington Country Manor for their care of our mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Sue Roat-Hall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown.
