Erin Renee Davis

Erin Renee Davis, 41 of Elmwood, IL passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018. She was born September 24, 1977, to Steve and Kay Clark of Yates City, IL, at St. Francis Medical Center. Erin married Bryan Davis on October 30, 1999, in Prescott, AZ, after a four year courtship. He survives, along with their two beautiful daughters, Olivia Bryanne, 18, and Isabelle Renee, 11, all of Elmwood, IL. Also, surviving are her parents, two sisters: Ashley(Corey) Geeseman of Elmwood, IL and Amanda(Matthew) Breaux of Dahinda, IL; mother-in-law Connie Davis of Bakersfield, CA; father-in-law Scott(Yvonne) Davis of Brimfield, IL; sister-in-law Keri(Greg) Boyer of Bakersfield, CA; and nieces and nephews, Paige and Mason Geeseman, Aiden Breaux and Peyton and Paisley Boyer.
Erin worked as a dental assistant with Associates In Dentistry, she and Bryan operated Here We Grow/Davis Landscaping Service, and most recently, she was employed by Farmers State Bank, all of Elmwood, IL.
Erin enjoyed spending time with her husband and daughters. She loved going on long, country drives with Bryan and finding new destinations. He was her anchor and they valued the hard work necessary to maintain their relationship. Erin's unbreakable bond with her daughters was undeniable. She relished in the role of motherhood and invested herself in any school projects or interests in which her daughters were involved. Erin consistently surrounded her children with love, affection, and attention.
Erin cherished her role as an older sister. As an adult, she became her sisters' self-appointed life coach/caregiver as well as her nieces' and nephews' second mother. Erin was always available to talk through obstacles and never asked for anything in return. She always inspired a positive self-image and empowered everyone to meet their full potential.
She extended love and support to all of her family and friends. She maintained friendships well into adulthood which began early in her youth, and she is survived by her closest friend, Salina Durst.
She had the most amazing laugh, and her fun spirit and sense of humor, along with her optimistic energy, brightened the spirits of everyone around her. She was selfless, and extended help to anyone in need. Erin was truly beautiful inside and out, she will be missed more than anyone can express.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Erin's Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at Maple Lane Country Club in Elmwood.
