Gerald “Jerry” Kinnamon


Lewistown- Gerald L. “Jerry” Kinnamon, 65, of Lewistown, passed away at 9:38 AM Wednesday April 20, 2016 at the OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born November 24, 1950 at Canton, the son of Gerald E. and Leola (Johnson) Kinnamon. Survivors include one daughter, Sonya Kauble of Casper, WY; one granddaughter, two brothers, Randy Kinnamon of Lewistown, and Mike (Chris) Kinnamon of Dunfermline, one aunt, Vonee Davis of Lewistown, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, one uncle, and his grandparents.

Jerry worked at Kinnamon Service Station in Lewistown for many years, and later worked as a truck driver for Star Transport. He was last working at Havana Metal Culverts. He was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown, and the Lewistown VFW Auxiliary. He enjoyed tractor pulling as a hobby.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday April 29th at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with Reverend Brant Reed officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday April 28th from 5-7 PM at the memorial home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lewistown VFW Auxiliary.
