Lisa Schrodt

Lisa Schrodt, 61, of Canton, passed away on December 19,2024 at her residence with her husband by her side. She was born on July 9, 1963 in Macomb to Jim and Carole (Tinkham) Weder. Lisa married Donald “Donnie” Schrodt on December 24, 2003 in Norris, IL. he survives along with her parents of Winchester, two daughters; Teri (Joe Watson) Schrodt and Lindsey Dworak both of Canton, one brother Timothy (Tonya) Weder of Jacksonville, one grandson Sylas Dworak, sister-in-law Romelle Clauson, two brothers-in-law; John Schrodt and Jerry (Diane) Schrodt, aunts, uncles and cousins along with her special lifelong friend Jean Burkhead and co-worker Nancy Johns.

Lisa was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Roy and Mary Weder, maternal grandparents Albert and Florence Tinkham, and in-laws Cappy Schrodt and Louise and Bud Cox.

Lisa graduated from Canton High School, Spoon River College and received her B.A. in Psychology at Sangamon State University. She made her career in Long Term Care in several roles such as Social Service Director, Business Office Manager, Regional Bookkeeper and Human Resource Director.

Lisa had a lifelong love of swimming and was an avid Green Bay Packer’s Fan. Her biggest joys in life were spending time playing cards and listening to music with Donnie and giving her love to her fur babies; Molly, Wofie, Packer and Spooky.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ben Phillips and OSF Hospice R.N. Heather “Red”, C.N.A.’s Bree and Angie, caregiver Penny and devoted family members.

Her love was shared with her dedicated husband Donnie, her selfless father James, and her brother Tim, along with a group of dear friends.

Services will be 4 pm Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton where visitation will be 2 hours prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded and a burial of ashes will take place at 11 am Friday, December 27, 2024 in Winchester City Cemetery in Winchester, IL.
