Anita Lee Carl

Anita Lee Carl, 86, passed away, Sunday, November 5, 2023. She was born on January 1, 1937, in Rapid City South Dakota, to John and Lola (Patterson) Flint. They preceded her in death. Anita married Les Carl in Rapid City South Dakota on April 16, 1958. He also preceded her in death as well as her son Darrell, and two grandsons, Nathan Carl and Rory Carl. She is survived by three children, Jason Carl, Renee (the late Van Crouch) Carl, and Ronda Carl, two brothers, Ron (Barb) Flint, and Wes (Jody) Flint, two grandchildren, Dawn (Matthew) Winhold and Michael Carl, and numerous great grandchildren. Anita was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. She was a accomplished seamstress and quilter, and loved to crochet and knit. Anita also enjoyed tending to her huge vegetable garden. Cremation rites will be accorded and a private burial of her ashes will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Christmas Angel Tree Program.
