Thomas J. Zaborac, 69, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at his residence.
He was born on May 4, 1951 in Canton to Thomas and Mildred "Millie" (Kelly) Zaborac. They preceded him in death.
He married Diana S. "Dee" Sappington on March 31, 1989. She also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, Kevin (Gina) Riley of Peoria, Lori (Tim) Loving of Galesburg, one brother, Edward (Debra) Zaborac of Wee-Ma-Tuk, four grandchildren, Brandon Riley of Peoria, Morgan Riley of Peoria, Tori Loving of Galesburg and Eli Loving of Galesburg.
Tom worked as a math teacher and coach for Elmwood High School and V.I.T and retired as the Vocational Director for Illinois River Correctional Center.
Cremation rites have been accorded and the burial of ashes will be held at a later date. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Millie and Tom Zaborac Education Fund at Spoon River College or the Dee Zaborac Scholarship Fund at Spoon River College.
