Farmington – Peggy A. Cruise, 64, of Farmington, passed away at 4:37 PM on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Unity Point Health Methodist. She was born on June 20, 1955 in Canton to Dean and Doris (Archdale) Walters. She married John Cruise on June 19, 1992 in Farmington; he survives.
Also surviving is her mother Doris; one daughter, Kristina Anthony of Elmwood; one granddaughter, Madison Anthony; two brothers, Harold (Brandy) Walters of Canton and Mike (Anna Duke) Walters of IN; one sister, Karen Kenney of Farmington; and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father.
Peggy was a member of the Farmington Women of the Moose. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and truly just loved to take care of kids.
A celebration of life will be held from 12-3 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at the Farmington Moose Lodge 1571, lunch will be provided. Burial of ashes will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded with Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL.
