Canton - Elizabeth Ann Stanfel, 80, of Canton, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on November 6, 1939 in Canton to Frank J. and Sylvia (Franciskovich) Stanfel.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Frankie Stanfel. Surviving are several cousins.
Elizabeth worked for Peoria School District 150 as a teacher at Harrison, Longfellow, and KIingman Schools. She was a member of Peoria area retired teachers, Illinois retired teachers, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton.
Services will be 10 am Saturday, December 21, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Canton. Visitation will be from 8:45 to 9:45 am Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Canton.
