Judith M. Tipton

Judith M. Tipton, 80, of Hanna City, IL, passed away at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Henry Rehab and Nursing in Henry, IL. She was born on September 4, 1943 in Peoria, IL to Issac William and Mildred (Matheny) Snyder. She married Carl E. Tipton on April 13, 1963 in Eureka, IL. He preceded her in death on February 12, 2013.

She is also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Robert A. Snyder and William M. Snyder.

She is survived by four children, Mark Tipton, Brian Tipton, James Tipton, and Stacy (William) Dillingham; four grandchildren, Kayla Merriman, Corey Dillingham, Kristina Dillingham, Cree Edwards; five great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Evelyn (Curtis) Rowden, one brother, Steven (Pearl) Snyder.

Judith was devoted to her family. She was a member of the Lords Table Church of God in Bartonville, IL. She graduated from Limestone High School in 1961 and attended ICC for two years, graduating from Health Occupations. Judy was a medical office assistant at Associated Family Physicians in Bartonville retiring in 2019 after 18 years. She also loved shopping and doing crafts.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Lords Table Church of God in Bartonville, IL. The family will receive friends and family the same day from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Pastor John Miller will officiate. Burial will be held at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria, IL at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded with Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
