Henry J. Robinson

Henry J. Johnson, 85, of Glasford, IL, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 1:27 PM at Farmington Village in Farmington, IL. He was born on June 14,1938 in Peoria, IL to Henry W. and Dorothy (Turbett) Johnson. He married Marge Pierce on July 5, 1958 in Peoria, IL. She survives.

He is also survived by one daughter, Patty A. (Ed) Lowry of Glasford, IL; four grandchildren, Matthew D. (Meg) Johnson of Park Forest, IL, Stephanie Johnson of Hopewell, IL, Ashley Lowry of Pekin, IL and Brett Lowry of Arizona; one great-grandchild, Eamon Benne of Hopewell, IL; and one daughter-in-law, Angie Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dale H. Johnson; one brother, John W. Johnson and one sister, Lydia Pierce.

Henry spent most of his life as a truck driver. He also loved to farm.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Bartonville, IL. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2024 with another visitation from 10 AM – 11 AM. Mary Lou Janssen will officiate. Burial will follow service at Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford, IL. Memorials may be made to TAPS in Pekin, IL or the Alzheimer’s Association.
