Danny Thompson

Danny Thompson, 65, of Havana passed away at his home at 12:40 p.m. on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born on July 8, 1958 in Havana to Larry and Linda (Chambers) Thompson. He married Lisa Jo Eilman on July 4, 2008 at the Havana Marina.

Danny is survived by his wife, Lisa Thompson of Havana; daughters, Ashley (Jake Pratt) Eady, Shania (Timothy Robison) Berkley, and Angela Chapman; grandchildren, Saphira Eady, Denahi Benton, Christian Pratt, Waylen Pratt, Athena Robison, and Elias; sister, Jean Thompson; and dogs, Luna, Ruby, Ginger, and Gunner. He was preceded in death by his parents and dogs, Mace 1, Mace 2, and Mace 3.
Danny served in the U.S. Army and worked as a maintenance technician for many years. He was an excellent mechanic and could fix almost anything. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and drag racing, and was an accomplished canoe racer, winning many trophies. He loved spending time with his family and dogs and having a good time with his friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned at this time.
