Sharon K. Frakes

Canton - Sharon K. Frakes, 81, of Canton, passed away at 3:29 pm, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on May 12, 1940 to

Harley and Lois (McGaughey) Conn. Sharon married James "Jimmy" Smith and later married John "Hank" Frakes, they both preceded her in death. Also preceding her death was one son Ronald "Junior" Melvin, one brother Wayne Conn and her parents.
Surviving are two children; Kathryn (Darold) Richardson of Lewistown and Wendell "Pete" Frakes of Bowling Green, FL, two brothers; Donnie (Connie) Conn of Colchester and Mike (Mary) Lung of Texas, one sister Alice (Hodd) Dean of Carthage, two grandchildren; Jamey (Joe) Dietz and Nathan Frakes and five great-grandchildren.
Sharon retired from Graham Hospital as a CNA.
Cremation rites have been accorded and per her wishes there will be a private family services at Apple Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made to the American Lung Association.
