Lewistown- Dorothy L. Herriford, 80, of Lewistown, passed away at 12:37 PM Friday August 6, 2021 at Graham Hospital.
She was born September 21, 1940 at Canton, the daughter of Don and
Florentine (Dowler) Braden. She married Donald Herriford on August 16,
1958 at Lewistown. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2006. She was
also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include four children, Dick (Deb) Herriford of Magnolia, TX;
Donald (Lori) Herriford Jr. of Magnolia, TX; Anita (Kevin) Blair of
Lewistown, and Annette (Delbert) Brewer of Canton, nine grandchildren,
Erik Woll, Kristofer Woll, Richard Brewer, Rachel Smith, Sean Brewer,
Bryan Herriford, Jennifer Crabtree, Justin Herriford, and Jared
Herriford, fifteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and
one sister, Jackie (Roger) Waggoner of Elmwood.
Dorothy worked at various restaurants and also was a babysitter. She
was a member of the Nazarene Church, Lewistown Historical Society, Red
Hat Club, and the D.A.R. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and
collecting music boxes.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday August 14, 2021 at
Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Visitation will be held Friday
from 5-7 PM at the memorial home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital, Lutheran
