Havana – Marie Maxine Mae Villaruel, of Havana, passed away at 2:43 AM
on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL. She was
born on October 19, 1953 in Los Angeles, California to George and Freida
(Fuller) Roth. She married Gayson Villaruel on February 14, 1992 in
Murrieta, California, he survives.
Also surviving are two children, Candace Evans and Matthew (Makayla)
Hansen both of Havana, IL; five grandchildren, Sydni Gaskill, Allena
Gaskill, Jayden Baker, Avery Hansen, and Wyatt Ash; one brother, George
Roth of California; and one sister, Rhonda (Al) Boyd of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Joseph Baker.
Marie worked and retired for Circle K as an assistant manager after
23 years. She enjoyed knitting, and loved spending time with her
grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites
will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton,
