Canton – Sonja D. Moss, 73, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born on August 1, 1944 in Canton to Clinton and Donna (Wenger) Gilmore.
Surviving are her mother, Donna of Canton, three children, April (Kenny) Moss Dean of Macomb, Randy Moss of Canton, Cynthia Valley of Cuba, one brother Jack (Stacey) Gilmore of Florida, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and one daughter, Crystal Harrison.
Sonja enjoyed crafting and loved animals. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and having her grandchildren stay on the weekends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, from 9-10 am at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A graveside funeral service will follow the visitation at the Marietta Cemetery.
