Canton – Jill Marie Miller, 67, of Canton, passed away at 12:31 PM on Friday, April 6, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on August 30, 1950 in Joliet, IL to Clifford and Gladys (Becker) Miller. She married David Fleming. He survives.
Also surviving is two children, Nathan (Cynthia) Fleming of Farmington, Jamie Lynn (Jeremy Huffman) Scott of Altona, IL; six grandchildren, Logan, Dena, and Noah Fleming, Jordan, Alec, and Tommy Scott; one great-granddaughter, Azaria Russell Scott; brother, Glen Miller; three sisters, Jamie Young, Jenice (Matthew) Collins, Jacquie West; sister by choice, Tanya Grabel.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, George and Gary Miller; sister, Judy Knowles.
Jill was a long member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Canton. She enjoyed having Sunday school, Christmas pageants, and loved her church family. She was also a hairdresser for many years and worked at Hardee’s in Canton for over 12 years.
Services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 13, 2018 at the First Church of the Nazarene in Canton, IL, where a visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Rev. Dennis Owens will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date. Cremations rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory.
