Havana – Joann Marie Mills, 55, of Havana, passed away at 10:09 AM on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Mason District Hospital in Havana, IL. She was born on June 23, 1962 in Tawas City, MI to William and Dorliska (Lewis) Colburn. She married Earl Mills on June 11, 1987 in Florida, he survives.
Also surviving are three children, Rocky (Erin) Darnell of Canton, Chris Mills of Havana, and Shane Mills of Havana; one step son, Ryan Mills of Astoria; two grandchildren; and two brothers, William “Bill” Colburn of Florida and Dan Colburn of Florida.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents.
Joann was of the Christian faith.
A celebration of life will be held from 9-10 AM on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the First Assembly of God in Havana, IL, where a prayer service will be held at 10 AM. Rev. Paul Homan will officiate. Private burial of ashes will be held at Laid Law Cemetery in Tawas City, MI. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL.
