Idarose M. Easley
Idarose M. Easley, 85, from Ipava, IL, passed away at 3:30 am on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on August 27, 1932 in Peoria, the daughter of Loa and Maude (Clark-Danner) Danner. Idarose married Lloyd Easley in 1954. He preceded her in death on January 15, 1999.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Janet (and JR) Colston of Ipava, and Linda (and Mike) Blemler of Ipava, son, Doug (and Ivonne) Easley of Cantrall, IL, 5 grandchildren, Travis (and Mandy) Colston, Jeremy (and Kathey) Blemler, Jessa (and Frank) Kajencki, Brittany (and Manni) Villareal and Catalina Easley, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and her grand dog Pugsley.
Idarose was a housewife. She was a waitress at Morrison’s Hideout in Ipava. She also owned and operated the Bernadotte Skating Rink, where she would always be willing to haul kids to and from, and the Ipava Coin Wash.
Idarose was always available to help out. She helped with Ipava’s annual homecoming celebration and was very active in the community. She was an avid shuffle board player with the American Legion and an avid Pitch player. She enjoyed going to the gambling boat. Idarose cherished time with her family and friends.
Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria, IL. Pastor Doug Krukewitt will be officiating. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Funeral Home in Astoria. Interment will be in the Astoria Cemetery in Astoria. Memorials may be made to the Ipava American Legion Auxiliary or the Ipava American Legion Post #17
