Charles "Chuck" E. Wallick


Yates City - Charles "Chuck" E. Wallick, 81, passed away at 7:50 p.m., on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Country Comfort Assisted Living in Elmwood. He was born on September 1, 1940, in Fulton County, to James and Dorothy (Myers) Wallick. He married Bonnie Slater on February 12, 1961, at the Church of the Brethern in Canton. His wife of 60 years survives.

He is also survived by two children, Kevin Wallick of Delaware and Kathleen (Rob) Paquin of Oshkosh, WI; two brothers, William (Beverly) Wallick and Dale (Bonnie) Wallick; one sister, Jean Peters; three grandchildren, Ashley Pederson, Sarah Anderson, and Sierra RyanWallick; and one great-grandchild, Sophie Pederson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary Wallick; two half-brothers, George Emery and Bob Emery; and four sisters, Ann Simmons, Wanda Parker, Kay Davidson, and Connie Wallick.
Chuck was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood carving, especially making decoys, and tending to his garden. He was a member of the United Faith Presbyterian Church in Yates City.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 25, 2021, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. A visitation will be held prior to the service, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Yates City Cemetery. Per family's request, please follow Covid mandates by wearing a mask for those attending.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elba-Salem Fire Department.
