Farmington – Phyllis Marie Daniels, 83, of Farmington, passed away at 1:50 AM on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 29, 1933 in Farmington to Harold and Lorena (Harrington) Long. She married Leonard Daniels on January 23, 1956 in Lewistown, IL, he preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, brother, Jack Long, and sister, Patsy Welker
Surviving are two children, Sandra (Bruce) Meade of Tennessee, and Patricia Delatorre of Farmington; five grandchildren, Jeff Meade, Jeremey (Angela) Meade, Jason (Kristen) Daniels, Justin Daniels, and Brandon Delatorre, brother, David Long, sister Marilou Zink; and several, nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was a homemaker and member of the Church of the Nazarene in Farmington.
Cremations rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory, Canton, IL. Burial of ashes at Foster Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad 1100. To make online condolences you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
