Lewistown – Larry D. Bedwell, 77, of Lewistown, passed away at 6:00 AM on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Timbercreek Rehab & Healthcare Center in Pekin, IL. He was born on December 7, 1938 in Canton to John and Bertha (Kruschinsky) Bedwell.
Surviving is one daughter, Laura A. Bedwell of Peoria, two grandsons, Trevor and Trey; and three sisters, Violet (Walter) Sweet of Pekin, Beverly Westerfield of St. David, and Virginia Bennett of MI.
Preceding him in death are his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Larry worked as a laborer in the Union. He served in the Army from September 1961 to 1965.
Services will be at 6 PM on Thursday, September22, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Cremation, 1995 N. Main St., Canton, IL., where a visitation will be from 4-6 PM. Rev. Sheldon Westerfield will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials can be made to Diabetes’s Association.
