Canton- Michael L. Cox, 54, of Canton, and formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 8:40 AM Wednesday September 30, 2015 at Graham Hospital.
He was born April 8, 1961 at Canton, the son of Ralph L. and Mary F. (Bainter) Cox. Survivors include his mother, Mary Cox of Canton, three children, Shannon Olson of Havana, Sean (Sonya Sheets) Cox of Montgomery, AL; and Samantha Cox of Havana, his fiancée and companion for 20 years, Denise Colglazier, and her two children, John (Matt Ferguson) Colglazier of New York, NY; and Mindy (Tiffany) Lockhart of Seattle, WA; five grandsons, one brother, Mark Cox of Canton, and two sisters, Lynn Cox of Canton, and Marcy (Troy) Jones of Mesa, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a supervisor at ATS in Peoria. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, woodcarving, and loved his dog, Buddy.
Cremation will be accorded. A celebration of life will be held Saturday form 4-6 PM at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Burial of ashes will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
