Jeffery R. “JR” Watson, 58, of Canton passed away at 8:16 PM Sunday,
July 19, 2015 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. JR was born May 15,
1957 in Canton to Roy and Margaret (Purvis) Watson. Surviving are his
parents of Memphis, MO, 3 children; Jenny Lynn Oaks , Trinity Marie
Watson, and Cory R.C. Watson all of Canton, 3 grandchildren; Ian Oaks,
Raya Sunshine Reading, and
Reese
Watson, a brother Terry (Debbie) Watson of Canton, and a husband-in-law
Gary (Billie Jo) Kinsel of Canton. A brother Tony Watson preceded him
in death.
JR owned and operated JR auto
repair. He also
worked
for Caterpillar for over 30 years as a plant supervisor. He loved
motorcycles, trips to Missouri, hanging out at Brew N Cue, loved his
family and friends, and father to many.
Services will be 6PM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Murphy-Sedgwick
Memorial Home in Canton where visitation will be from 3-6 PM. Cremation
rites will be accorded following services. Memorials can be made to St.
Jude’s Children’s Hospital. To
