He was born on May 21, 1960 in Moline, IL.
He married Connie Varnes on October 1, 1983. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons Nicholas (Pamela) Green of Middletown, Jacob (Kelsey) Green of Lewistown, one brother, Danny Burcham, two sisters, Ramona VanMiddlesworth, Wanda Kennedy, three grandchildren, Emma Green, Mason Green, Lexi Tibbs and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane (Prichard) Burcham, one brother, Randy Prichard and one sister, Renee Jacobson.
Curt served as a BCO in the 1/75 Ranger Battalion, M-60 Gunner Weapons Squad in the U.S. Army and was also airborne and scuba certified. He was a welder for Rohns, Mitsubishi and Caterpillar.
He was an avid outdoorsman including, hunting, fishing, mushrooming, trapping and archery. Curt would find relaxation in chopping and splitting wood for family and friends. He also served as a trustee for Buckheart Township.
He was a “Jack-of-all-trades”, a good Christian man and a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He lived his life by the Ranger motto “RLTW”
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5-7pm at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10am with military honor’s following at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to Rangers Lead the Way Fund.
