Lewistown- Margaret F. Wright, 93, of Lewistown passed away Friday June 28, 2024 at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.
She was born February 1, 1931 at rural Lewistown the daughter of Robert L. and Mildred C. (Hughes) Pedigo. She married Dewey G. Wright on July 3, 1951 at Havana. He died November 21, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. Surviving are, one daughter, Rhonda (Ray) Windmiller of Liverpool, two grandchildren, Sarah (Brendon) Adams of Goldendale, WA; and Emily (Tommy) Malerich of Germantown Hills, four great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and one sister, Della Moore of Havana.
Margaret worked in the grocery business, she and her husband Dewey were co-owners of the former D&D Red Fox grocery store in Lewistown. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church in Havana. Margaret was a good cook. She enjoyed her yard and her home.
Services will be private and burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. To send online condolences visit henrylange.com.
